About The Artist
Born in Orange County, California, I have been an artist for over 30 years. I started my artistic endeavors through the guidance or my mother, who was also an artist, and this is how I got interested in drawing and painting. I come from a family of artists. My aunt was a published author, My Uncle is a professional photographer, My sister is an impressionistic artist, my nephew is a graphic artist and D.J. in Los Angeles, California, and my son is a musician. What you see on my website are examples of some of my work. Once a pastel is completed, it is then sprayed with a fixative. Oils are varnished when completed and dried. I have attended a well known college in Southern California. My work has been shown in galleries, libraries, museums and businesses across the country. My paintings decorate the homes of many famous clients. One of my portraits is now part of the California State Capital Building Archives. I have also taught art in college, art stores, and hosted my own drawing show on television.
Also, seven of my portraits are appear in the book: "Diana in Art", by the renowned author: Mem Mehmet
My work can also be viewed on the Ohio Arts Council Registry website. A cooperative effort with the Columbus Metropolitan Library.
